Unbeaten Kyaggwe qualifies for the Knockout Stage in the 2025 Masaza cup.

Matchday eight concluded with thrilling matches across the region, showcasing the talent and skill of the participating teams. Kyaggwe became the first team to secure a quarterfinal spot after a 1-0 victory over Mawogola, stretching their unbeaten run to eight games.

Marvin Busulwa’s decisive goal earned Kyaggwe a much needed win to the fans in wilderness at Mukono Bishop SS. David Mugalu of Kyaggwe was named Man of the Match due to his display. Kyaggwe now tops the Muganzirwazza group with 18 points, having won five matches and drawn three. Ssingo is second with 11 points.

Kyandodo disciplined Buvuma 5-0, with Abasi Muluya and Enock Ssekatawa scoring a brace each and Ivorex Kalungi adding the fifth goal at Hamz ground Nakivubo.

Bugerere defeated Buweekula 2-1 at Ntegeru play grounds, stretching their unbeaten run to eight games. Mike Katumwa and Wamala Henry scored for Bugerere, while Alex Talemwa scored the consolation goal for Buweekula.

Mawokota secured a crucial 1-0 win over Bulemeezi at buwama ssaza play grounds, with Kasule Mike scoring the winning goal.

Busiro defeated Buddu 1-0 at Kitovu Arena play grounds leaving Buddu’s qualifying chances slim, with Bruhan Tusaba scoring the winning goal in the first half.

Busujju and Buluuli played out a goalless draw making them top on the group.

Ssingo and Butambala drew 1-1, with Daniel Bakaki scoring for Butambala and Shaban Kayongo equalizing for Ssingo
