Team of the Week: TWO Ssaza Busiro Stars Feature For The First Time

Busiro’s impressive win aganist Buddu earns them two spots in the matchweek eight Ganda Media’s team of the week picks by Gadunya Jafari.

Hamza Lutaaya was very important to Busiro between the posts with an outstanding display to deny the Pookino boys a goal, as they secured all three points against Buddu on Sunday.

Goalkeeper: 

Hamza Lutaaya (Busiro): Made seven saves, a clean sheet and registered two successful run-outs away from home with the man of the match against Buddu.

Defenders:

Tasuba Buruhani (Busiro): Excelled on the right for Busiro, making six clearances, three interceptions, and two tackles and a goal in the 9th minute on the clock against Buddu.

Kevin Mwabu (Ssese): almost scored a header but he scored and took the man of the match with his skills, power and restless crosses with eye for the goal and kick-started Ssese’s crushing win against GOMBA .

Kasule Mike(Mawokota): Cleared a potential goal-scoring opportunity off the line and scored the only goal for Mwakoto against the scary Bulemeezi.

Midfielders:

David Mugalu (Kyaggwe): made three tackles and three interceptions, and delivered beautiful passes to the forwards and earned man of the match against Mawogola

Fred Muhangura (Buluuli): Tormented a solid defense Busujju and got the man of the match award with the game ended in a draw of 0:0.

David Bakaki (Butambala): Created two big chances and completed four of his five long passes with a goal and man of the match against Ssingo.

Muluya Abaasi (Kyadondo): expectational and non predictive with the ball on his fit, Scored two goals and made six shots, three through pass, and two big chances with man of the match against Buvuma.

Forwards:

Ssekatawa Enock (Kyadondo): Scored two fine finishes and scoring back to back hoodoo establishing him as on of the lethal strickers in the tournament

Wamala Henry (Bugerere): Scored and created a chances, showcasing his skills, power and speed against star bone Buweekula defense

Katumwa Mike (Bugerere): created goalscoring chances and tormented Buweekula’s defense with his pace and skills determination and grabbed man of the match and a goal against Buweekula.

Other Notable Players:

Ssese’s Kirabira made several good saves to keep a clean sheet against GOMBA, Marvin Busulwa of Kyaggwe scored a stunning goal and carried on his form from the first round of the tournament. Peter Kyomuhendo from Kooki continues to impress.

Alex and Livingstone Kaweesi both of Kyadondo delivered for their teams as required, in Buwama Munogera Amour of Mawokota had proper game reading was instrumental for Mawokota against bulemeezi and finally Shabile Lubega of Kooki was impressive too.
